Arnold Schwarzenegger blames woman on bicycle for hitting him and seriously injuring him
The 76-year-old actor was involved in an accident in February last year when his car hit a woman on a bicycle in Los Angeles.
Arnold Schwarzenegger denies involvement in the accident
At the time, law enforcement officials said the Terminator hit the woman unconscious after she swerved left in front of Schwarzenegger’s SUV, only for the man to slam on his brakes.
He was reportedly driving at a normal speed, TMZ reported at the time, but the woman, Joanne Flickinger, says he was driving distracted and speeding.
However, the actor said that the woman was the one who was distracted, as she was not distracted and was driving at a normal speed.
He added that all the injuries the woman sustained were caused by the accident she was involved in, so she was not to blame.
In addition to asking for the suit to be dismissed, he also asked for a refund of the court fees.
Arnold Schwarzenegger wants the case dismissed
In her lawsuit, the woman claimed that the collision with Arnold Schwarzenegger caused her serious injuries despite the dispute.
He says he wants more than 25 thousand dollars in compensation, which is more than 25 million in Rwandan money.
